Hi, I’m Liam Draxon — a tech guy with a creative streak, proudly based in Edmonton, Alberta.

I graduated from NAIT with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, which basically means I spent a lot of time solving problems with code (and occasionally creating new ones, but hey, that’s part of the fun). I’ve always been drawn to the space where logic meets creativity — whether I’m building software, sketching out a design, or tinkering with a side project that probably started as a joke and somehow turned into something real.

When I’m not at my desk, you’ll probably find me with a guitar in hand or out on my bike, chasing down Edmonton’s trails. Music keeps me grounded, and cycling gives me a chance to clear my head — unless I hit a pothole, in which case it’s more of a reality check.

Now, here’s the unexpected part: I’ve got a soft spot for walnuts. Not just as a snack (though they’re great for that), but as a kind of muse. They’re strong, full of character, and surprisingly versatile — kind of like the qualities I aim for in my work and hobbies. I built the Walnut Recipe Vault website to collect and share walnut unique recipes — everything from trail snacks to experimental sauces. It started as a fun way to combine my love for coding and cooking, and now it’s become a quirky corner of the internet I’m oddly proud of.

At the end of the day, I’m just trying to blend my technical skills with my love for creativity and community — whether that’s through a line of code, a guitar riff, or a scenic ride across Edmonton. And if a few walnut-inspired ideas sneak in along the way, all the better.
